RITUALS OF MEMORY
The exhibition brings together the work of four artists whose practices engage in dialogue through different languages with the same question: how is time inscribed in matter and how does memory appear when it can no longer be reconstructed or verified? Far from evocation or nostalgia, their works focus on traces, fragments and accumulation as forms of visual thought.
The works are built from fragmentation and wear. Memory is not presented as a clear image, but as altered matter: layers, stains, cracks, transformed surfaces. Materials - such as fabrics, dust, paint, photography or geological surfaces - function here as a sensitive archive, a record where time is deposited, compressed or expanded. Drawing on different languages and sensibilities, the works create a contained journey that invites slow observation and an intimate engagement with each piece.
