ABOUT

We are a gallery of limited selections and precise durations. Each presentation has a beginning and an end, like the breath of an idea. The archive is not a repository: it is living memory, project by project.

LUMBRE starts from the idea of what remains when the noise disappears.

The continuity of the project is not defined by calendars, open calls or market criteria, but through a system of selection among artists.

Each participating artist proposes someone they believe can continue the project, based on conceptual, formal or sensibility affinities.

In this way, the gallery is built progressively, not through the accumulation of works, but through relationships and dialogues between artistic practices.

We understand curating as an exercise in thought and selection.

The projects are constructed with clear intent, aligned with our manifesto and with the rhythm of the space itself.

There is conceptual freedom within a defined framework; coherence takes precedence over accumulation.

Lumbre is shaped not by space, but by a way of looking.
