The exhibition brings together the work of four artists whose practices engage in dialogue through different languages with the same question: how is time inscribed in matter and how does memory appear when it can no longer be reconstructed or verified? Far from evocation or nostalgia, their works focus on traces, fragments and accumulation as forms of visual thought.
The works are constructed from fragmentation and wear and tear. Memory is not presented as a clear image, but as altered matter: layers, stains, cracks, altered surfaces. The material (fabrics, dust, paint, photography or geological surfaces) functions here as a sensitive archive, a record where time is deposited, compressed or expanded. From different languages and sensibilities, they generate a contained journey that invites slow observation and an intimate relationship with each piece.
